Stephen Pierce focuses his practice in the areas of civil, consumer, and commercial litigation. Mr. Pierce has been practicing law since 2012 and has been with the Firm since he served as a law clerk while in law school. As a lawyer, Stephen enjoys helping his clients tackle complicated matters in a solutions-oriented and practical fashion.

Mr. Pierce graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Arts and obtained his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, he worked as a Governor’s Fellow to the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Stephen also managed a variety of local and state government political campaigns and worked on Capitol Hill.

Stephen is licensed to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Among other professional associations and memberships, Mr. Pierce is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.  Stephen often acts as local counsel for cases pending in Virginia Courts.

Mr. Pierce is a member of the Order of the Barristers and won the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Advocacy Award.  Stephen has also been named as “Legal Elite” for Civil Litigation by  Virginia Business Magazine in each year since 2021.

Stephen Pierce was born in New Hampshire, but has called Northern Virginia home for over twenty-five years. He is a graduate of Chantilly High School, and currently resides in Clifton, Virginia with his wife, three children, and dog. He is an avid runner and sports enthusiast who plays on and manages his adult co-ed soccer and softball teams.
