Tashina M. Harris

Tashina Harris focuses her practice in the areas of family law and appellate litigation.  Ms. Harris has been practicing law since 2013 and has been with the Firm since 2012 serving as a law clerk.  To Tashina, the most rewarding aspect of practicing law is the challenge of problem-solving; she strives to help families develop and effectuate a plan that will not only address their immediate needs, but provide them with peace of mind for the future.  

Ms. Harris graduated from The University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of the Arts and obtained her law degree from George Mason University School of Law.  While attending George Mason, Tashina was an active member of the Moot Court Team, where she won First Place in the Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition. She also served as a Notes Editor on the George Mason Law Review and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Association.  

Tashina is licensed to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  Ms. Harris is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Fairfax County Bar Association, among others.

In 2017, Ms. Harris was named by Super Lawyers as a Virginia “Rising Star” in the practice area of Family Law, and she has remained a Rising Star each year since.

Tashina Harris is a Northern Virginia native, and currently resides in Fairfax.   In her spare time, Tashina can be found performing with various local community theatre groups, with which she has appeared in a wide variety of productions ranging from musicals to Shakespeare.
